The food (for Trinis) is hit or miss. The good thing is that even when they miss its better than most. The hit, however, make them outstanding, and your mouth will waste just thinking about eating it again. Now... service. That's an animal that can't be fixed. The lack of any salutation or the grumpy disinterest in how you receive your food is just plain old bad. This is a usual occurrence, and though anomalies happen, it wasn't the case in this last visit. Just to close off my last comment, WAYNE... how about a nice island feel? It would be great to feel like we're in Trinidad enjoying this food.

I will never order from this restaurant again. I ordered curry chicken with white rice and received FROZEN chicken feet. I was so disgusted and lost my appetite. I never received the rice. I ordered when they first opened and the food was old and cold.

I ordered the curry chicken using UberEats today. It was so salty I had throw it out, I would not recommend.

This can’t possibly be curry goat! I ordered their curry goat, rice & peas with pumpkin no peas but over all food tasted stale this isn’t the way curry goat is supposed to taste or look! If you are ordering curry goat you will be highly disappointed especially knowing how curry goat should look/ taste. Maybe the fact that this isn’t a Jamaican restaurant. Their corn soup however was delicious!

This food is criminally good. Get the oxtail dinner with fried plantain and the macaroni pie. I swear I’ve never had this good food in a while. Don’t even second guess this place. Honestly amazing.

This place is great for roti and more!! I got a sorrel drink (which I’ve never had before) and it really complements the spice of the curry. I highly recommend Gee’s for doubles as well, especially if you don’t want to wait in line for Trinidad (there only $1 more here, accept card, and are comparable quality to Trinidad). Overall happy to have Gees in my neighborhood!

Unbelievably yummy! Totally crave-able!!! Soooo flavorful and fresh. The oxtail with peas/rice, potato salad, and spinach was insanely delicious. The sweet plantains were so good too.

I was excited about the Mauby because I usually get sorrel and wanted something different. My first time trying mauby and gee’s, the food was authentic and tasty. I’ll have to try more things from the menu sometime soon. The beans from my rice and peas were a little hard but I added salsa from my fridge and the beans soaked it right up so overall I was satisfied

Fond memories from college days, so excited this place is back. Very clean with big screen TVs if you’re dining or waiting for food, which is a plus. Super friendly service, amazing value and portions for TGTG. This is definitely a neighborhood favorite
